Carndonagh Veterinary Practice in Carndonagh, County Donegal is inviting applications for a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy 7-vet team, on a 1-year fixed-term contract (with potential for extension). Excellent veterinary & nursing support team.
Our modern, purpose-built clinic provides veterinary care to the farming and pet-owning community across the Inishowen Peninsula.
Our small animal clinic is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx Lab suite, dental machine. Our on-site farm animal facilities minimise time spent travelling to calls.
Role includes:
• Mixed large and small animal practice
• Consultations, surgery, herd health and TB testing
• Routine health checks and vaccinations
• Maintaining clinical records and advising clients on animal care
Rota: 1 in 4 nights and 1 in 4 weekends.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferable
• Ability to undertake large and small animal surgeries
• Registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland
